Hogan Lovells advises Aerotec on the acquisition of Mindtree

Press releases|04 December 2025

Led by Frankfurt partner Dr. Christoph Naumann, global law firm Hogan Lovells has advised Aerotec Europe Holding GmbH (Aerotec) on the acquisition of Dubai-based Mindtree Aerospace Repairing and Maintenance Aircraft LLC, a specialist in the design, production, refurbishment, and certification of aircraft cabin interiors. The terms and conditions of the transaction have not been disclosed.

Aerotec Europe GmbH and its subsidiary Airplane Equipment & Services A.E.S. GmbH (together Aerotec), were acquired by Borromin Capital Fund IV in September 2022 with a view to growing the business both organically and through the acquisition of attractive add-on businesses. In June 2024, Aerotec completed its first add-on acquisition in the maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) sector by acquiring aviationscouts, one of the leading businesses in the aircraft interior aftermarket with a strong emphasis on refurbished aircraft seats. The addition of Mindtree marks another important step in Aerotec’s strategic growth and expansion plan.

Hogan Lovells had already advised Aerotec on its acquisition of aviationscouts in 2024 and is now once again supporting the company in implementing its strategic M&A growth agenda.

“We are delighted to have supported Aerotec once again in the implementation of its strategic expansion plans. The acquisition of Mindtree strengthens Aerotec’s position in the aircraft interiors and MRO market, and our team was pleased to contribute its cross-border transactional and sector expertise to this important step”, said Christoph Naumann.
