Herbert Smith Freehills Kramer advises the sole sponsor on UISEE Technologies’ Hong Kong IPO

Leading global law firm Herbert Smith Freehills Kramer has advised CITIC Securities (Hong Kong) Limited as the sole sponsor on UISEE Technologies (Beijing) Co., Ltd.  (01511.HK)’s listing on the Main Board of the Hong Kong Stock Exchange.

“Hong Kong continues to be an important fundraising venue for Chinese companies,” said Hong Kong partner Matt Emsley. “This transaction shows the breadth of issuers coming to the market, including innovative businesses with international ambitions.”

UISEE Technologies is a Chinese provider of autonomous driving solutions. The company specialises in driverless L4 technology for commercial vehicles in closed scenarios, including airports and factories. The company’s solutions cover logistics, operational and mobility vehicles across autonomous driving levels from L2 to L4. This is another listing for the firm under Chapter 18C, a regime introduced by the Hong Kong Stock Exchange in March 2023 for specialist technology companies.

“We are pleased to have supported the sponsor on UISEE Technologies’ IPO and congratulate the company on its successful listing,” said Beijing partner Stanley Xie. “This latest listing highlights the success of the Chapter 18C regime in providing a dedicated pathway for specialist technology companies.”
