Leading global law firm Herbert Smith Freehills Kramer has advised IBEX Wachstumspartner (“IBEX“) on the financing of its acquisition of the German video security specialist Geutebrück.
IBEX, together with the Merantix Group, is investing in Geutebrück to support the company’s strategic development in AI-based applications.
Headquartered in Windhagen, Germany, Geutebrück has been providing intelligent video management software solutions and related hardware for over 55 years. The company develops solutions for capturing, storing, analyzing, and delivering video data for a global customer base.
IBEX is an owner-managed investment company that focuses on succession planning for German small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), with a particular emphasis on management buy-ins and CEO succession. IBEX supports SMEs both financially and by providing extensive expertise in the areas of digital transformation and growth, as well as in the acquisition of competitors and internationalization.
