
DLA Piper is pleased to announce the addition of Joshua Fox and Alexander Civetta as Partners in the firm’s Emerging Growth and Venture Capital practice in Boston. The arrival of these nationally ranked practitioners deepens the firm’s presence in a key market for venture-backed innovation companies and expands its ability to advise clients across the full lifecycle of growth.
Fox will lead the firm’s Corporate team in Boston and brings 25 years of experience helping entrepreneurs build their businesses. He advises clients on company formation, venture capital, angel and strategic investments, mergers and acquisitions, and day-to-day legal and business matters. His practice is focused on life sciences companies, including drug development, devices, diagnostics and tools, as well as technology companies in energy, digital health, and software.
Civetta advises innovators and high-growth companies across industries, including life sciences, technology, energy transition, AI and robotics, consumer products, and sports and entertainment. He counsels founders, startups, and emerging companies throughout their lifecycle, with experience in financings across all stages and levels of complexity. His practice spans strategic technology transactions, intellectual property licensing, and commercial contracting matters.
