DLA Piper has advised STEF, a leading temperature-controlled logistics and transport services business, on the acquisition of TDL Fresh Logistics, a business engaged in transport and logistics of fresh and frozen food products. The transaction was completed on 2 December after receiving approval from the Belgian Competition Authority.
STEF, headquartered in France, is a leader in temperature-controlled transport, logistics, and packaging services for food products. STEF employs over 22,000 individuals and operates 283 sites in eight European countries, including a network of 7 sites in Belgium.
A team from DLA Piper’s Brussels office worked on the transaction and was led by Lit&Reg partner Laurent Geelhand and Aubry Daerden, counsel.
