DLA Piper advises leading global fintech platform on establishment of multiple access funds

Global law firm DLA Piper advised a leading US-headquartered global fintech platform focused on alternative investments on the establishment of multiple access funds across key international markets.

DLA Piper advised on all legal aspects of the transaction, including structuring and formation of multiple open-ended and close-ended investment funds, investor negotiations, securities law, regulatory and tax matters across a number of jurisdictions as the client continues to expand access to alternative investment opportunities through its technology-enabled investment platform.

The matter brought together a multidisciplinary team from across DLA Piper’s global platform, including lawyers from the United States, Luxembourg, the United Kingdom, Hong Kong, Thailand and the Middle East, demonstrating the firm’s ability to deliver seamless cross-border advice on complex fund structuring, regulatory and tax matters.

The cross-border team was led by Shinong Wang in Hong Kong.
