DLA Piper has advised IMG Capital, a Moroccan private equity fund manager, on its minority investment in Avis Locafinance Group, a leading integrated mobility platform in Morocco. The investment was made through IMG Capital fund, IMG Fund I.
Avis Locafinance, a long-standing player in Morocco’s mobility sector, will use the IMG Capital’s investment to support its continued expansion, strengthen its service offering, and consolidate its position as a leading integrated mobility provider in the Moroccan market. Founded in 1961, Avis Locafinance has evolved from a traditional car rental operator into a fully integrated mobility platform. It combines short-term rental services under the Avis brand, long-term leasing through Locafinance, and fleet management and maintenance services.
With a network of more than 20 agencies across Morocco and a fleet of over 5,000 vehicles, Avis Locafinance is well positioned to benefit from the increasing trend of fleet outsourcing by corporate businesses and the growing demand for comprehensive mobility solutions.
