DLA Piper’s global Capital Solutions team advised Bain Capital Special Situations LP, a leading alternative investment manager, on the launch of JB Aircraft Finance, its mid-life corporate aircraft leasing and financing platform. The platform is designed to deliver differentiated financing solutions to aircraft owners, operators, OEMs, brokers, and intermediaries.
Certain funds managed or advised by Bain Capital provided the equity capital required to fund the platform. This transaction advances Bain Capital’s broader aviation strategy and further strengthens Bain Capital’s longstanding partnership with DLA Piper’s Capital Solutions team, which has supported Bain across a wide range of aviation investments.
