Congratulations to Alphatec Holdings, through its subsidiary Alphatec Spine, Inc., on its purchase of certain assets from Integrity Implants Inc. and Fusion Robotics, LLC. This deal will aid in bringing about a sophisticated navigation system for spine procedures. The purchase price was $55 million and, in addition, Alphatec Holdings completed a direct registered offering, pursuant to which it sold $60 million of shares of its common stock. The transaction was closed on April 19, 2023.
The team was led by shareholder Joshua E. Little (M&A, St. George), and included shareholders Mark L. Astling (Corporate, Salt Lake), Rick L. Guerisoli (Corporate, St. George), Sarah W. Matthews (Intellectual Property & Technology, Salt Lake) and associates Tyler R. Cahoon (Environmental, Lehi), Samuel Goold (Corporate, St. George).
