Dentons has advised NU-MED Grupa S.A. and its subsidiaries, controlled by Enterprise Investors, on a PLN 193.5 million financing from mBank. The financing will be used to refinance NU-MED Grupa’s existing debt and further develop its network of specialist medical centers dedicated to the diagnosis and treatment of oncology patients.
Dentons provided assistance in negotiating and executing of the finance documents governed by Polish and Luxembourgish law.
Counsel Paweł Długoborski led the cross-border project, supervised by partner Bartosz Nojek with assistance from Mateusz Ciechomski (associate) and Daria Dąbrowska (associate) from the Banking and Finance team in Warsaw. The team also included Stephane Hadet (partner), Christophe Renaudin (counsel), Yifan Zhang (senior associate) and Arnida Alija (associate) in Luxembourg.
Enterprise Investors is one of the largest private equity firms in Central and Eastern Europe. The firm has been active since 1990 and has raised ten funds, which have invested and committed €2.2 billion. The company has broad experience in investing in various segments of the medical sector.
