Global law firm Dentons has advised Mitiska REIM on a strategic joint venture with HeyLager. HeyLager develops and operates hybrid drive-up self-storage solutions that combine drive-in storage units and garages with walk-in storage spaces for residential and commercial users.
The joint venture aims to accelerate the rollout of the HeyLager concept in Germany. Through the Mitiska European Real Estate Partners 3 Fund (MEREP 3), 15 to 20 additional locations will be acquired and developed in the coming years. In the second phase, the portfolio will be expanded to a total of 50 locations nationwide.
Mitiska REIM is a leading pan-European specialist investor and fund manager for “convenience real estate” with a focus on retail parks, logistics, light industrial, and self-storage properties.
Dentons provided comprehensive legal advice to Mitiska REIM on all aspects of the transaction. Mitiska REIM was also advised by PwC (tax) and Savills (commercial).
