London—Dentons has advised a syndicate of lenders – Akbank, BNP Paribas, Garanti BBVA, HSBC and ING – on a dual-currency financing comprising a US$200 million facility and a €50 million facility made available to Kordsa, a global leader in advanced material technologies.

The financing will support Kordsa’s general corporate purposes and help it reinforce its balance sheet structure.

The transaction was concluded within a tight timetable and involved careful coordination across multiple lenders and jurisdictions. We were delighted to be able to support in bringing the transaction to a successful close”.

Alongside Joe, the Dentons team included associate Aanchal Kapoor and trainee Sumithra Muttiah.

Dentons continues to advise banks and financial institutions on complex cross-border and multi-currency financing transactions, drawing on its global banking and finance expertise.
