Bucharest—Global law firm Dentons has advised Evcil Group on the acquisition of three solar projects totaling 15 MW in Romania. Two of the projects are already operational and the third project was acquired at a ready-to-build stage, having obtained all necessary building permits to commence the works. The completion of the transactions is subject to customary regulatory approvals.
Dentons provided legal support throughout all stages of the projects, including legal due diligence, transaction structuring, drafting and negotiation of the transfer documentation, as well as signing.
Senior associate Mihut-Ioan Radu led the transactions with the help of associates Ruxandra Ronea and Dragos Nicula, under the supervision of partner Cristian Popescu (all Corporate M&A).
