Dentons advised European Energy, a leading international developer of renewable energy projects headquartered in Denmark, on the sale of the 21 MW Myślibórz onshore wind project to TAURON, a leading Polish state-backed energy group.
European Energy advanced the six-turbine project to Ready-to-Build (RtB) status, securing all key permits and development consents required for construction. Once operational, Myślibórz will add new renewable generation capacity to the Polish electricity system and become part of TAURON’s renewable energy portfolio.
The divestment of projects at various stages of development and operation allows European Energy to reinvest capital in its growing pipeline of renewable energy projects. The company remains active in Poland across a broad range of technologies, including onshore wind, solar PV, battery energy storage and Power-to-X.
Dentons’ team was led by Christian Schnell, partner and Co-head of the Energy practice in Poland, and included senior associate Katarzyna Samoraj and associate Paulina Obiedzińska.
