
Prague —Global law firm Dentons has advised Czech chemical company Draslovka on its successful issuance of USD 325 million of 11% senior secured bonds due 2030 on the Nordic bond market.
The transaction represents Draslovka’s first entry into international capital markets and makes it the first Czech issuer to obtain financing through the Nordic bond market. The issue was conducted exclusively in cooperation with Pareto Securities and its proceeds will be primarily used to refinance existing liabilities, including the Term Loan B arranged in connection with the acquisition of Chemours Mining Solutions from The Chemours Company in 2021.
Dentons had already advised Draslovka on securing the acquisition financing for this $520 million transaction in 2021, supporting the client on another significant milestone in its international growth and financing strategy.
The bond issue in the Nordic market is part of Draslovka’s broader strategy aimed at optimizing the capital structure, reducing financing costs and supporting long-term value creation through a more efficient and stable balance sheet.
