Dentons has advised Dekada on the sale of a portfolio of 11 retail properties operating under the Dekada brand to Appeninn Asset Management Holding Plc., a company listed on the Budapest Stock Exchange. The transaction, valued at more than €100 million, marks the sale of a mature portfolio of modern convenience retail assets developed by Dekada over more than a decade.
The portfolio comprises 11 retail properties, including seven retail parks and four shopping centres, located across several towns and cities in Poland: Brodnica, Ciechanów, Grójec, Kraków, Malbork, Myślenice, Nowy Targ, Olsztyn, Sieradz, Skierniewice and Żyrardów. Together, the assets offer approximately 53,000 sqm of gross lettable area.
Completed between 2011 and 2024, the properties benefit from an occupancy rate of more than 95 percent and are leased to a diversified mix of well-established national and international retail and service operators. Over the years, the portfolio has established a strong market position in their respective local markets, combining high-quality convenience retail offerings with stable operating performance.
Dentons team advising on the transaction was co-led by partner Piotr Szafarz and managing counsel Jarosław Stąpel, supported by associate Olga Lipińska.
