
Global law firm Clifford Chance is advising its FTSE 100 client Informa PLC on the acquisition of Clarion for £2.24 billion. This acquisition, which will be funded by a combination of dedicated acquisition financing and a c.£940 million equity placing and retail offer, underscores Informa’s position as an international leader in B2B Live Events, providing scale entry to high growth categories including Electronics, Defence/Security and Gaming, and adding further to its offering in the Technology and Energy sectors.
