Clifford Chance has advised the management team of Universidad Europea on the sale of a majority stake in Universidad Europea by Permira to EQT.
Established in 1996, Universidad Europea is a leading private higher education platform with presence in Spain and Portugal.
The Group comprises a network of 54,000 students, 130,000 alumni and more than 3,400 employees across 12 campuses, offering more than 500 degrees and 110 new official value-add programs.
The Clifford Chance team involved M&A Private Equity partner Samir Azzouzi, associate María Aguayo and Tax Counsel Fernando Escribano.
