Global law firm Clifford Chance has advised S&P Global on its agreement to acquire With Intelligence, a leading source of private markets data, insights and analytics, for $1.8 billion from Motive Partners and a number of other sellers.
The acquisition will significantly expand S&P Global’s data coverage and capabilities across private markets, enhancing its value proposition for General Partners (GPs), Limited Partners (LPs), Intermediaries, and Advisors.
The cross-border Clifford Chance team on this strategically important transaction was led by partners Dominic Ross and Melissa Fogarty, with support from colleagues across Corporate, Antitrust, Tax, Employment, Incentives, Tech/Digital, IP, Litigation, and Financial Regulation.
