Clifford Chance advises Premia on acquisition of Cowen Reinsurance S.A.

International law firm Clifford Chance has advised Premia on its acquisition of Ramius Enterprise Luxembourg Holdco S.à r.l. and its subsidiaries, including Luxembourg-based property and casualty reinsurer Cowen Reinsurance S.A., from TD Bank.

Following completion of the transaction on 30 October 2026, Cowen Reinsurance S.A. was renamed Premia Reinsurance Europe S.A. The acquisition expands Premia’s operations in Continental Europe and provides the group with an additional Luxembourg-based platform from which to deliver reinsurance solutions to clients across the region.
