
Global law firm Clifford Chance has advised the joint sponsors CICC and CITIC Securities (Hong Kong) Limited and the underwriters on the initial public offering and listing of Viewtrix Technology Co., Ltd (Viewtrix Technology) on the Main Board of the Hong Kong Stock Exchange, raising approximately HK$1.1 billion (US$140 million).
Chair of China Practice and partner Tim Wang co-led the transaction with partners Jean Thio and Tianning Xiang with support from counsel Erxin Lu, senior associate Yaping Li, associates Lawrence Yue, Jonathan Zhang and Sibin Hong, trainee solicitors Changle Xu and Frederica Fu and legal analysts Vanessa Xu and Zixin Zhang.
Viewtrix Technology designs and supplies specialised components that underpin how smartphone screens operate and display content, working with leading manufacturers and major global and Chinese handset brands across both premium and mass‑market segments. The company has developed an integrated, end‑to‑end technology platform spanning chip design, image optimisation software and circuit engineering, alongside similar solutions for next‑generation devices such as augmented and virtual reality.
Clifford Chance has advised on the listings of several semiconductor and chip companies in China, including the listings of Axera Semiconductor, Montage Technologyand GigaDevice Semiconductor.
