
Global law firm Clifford Chance has advised Mizuho Bank Europe N.V. on the establishment of its €5 billion Euro Commercial Paper (ECP) Programme. The programme provides Mizuho Bank Europe N.V. with a flexible source of short-term funding and supports its treasury and liquidity management activities.
The programme was established as a multi-currency programme, with Mizuho Bank Europe N.V. and Mizuho International plc acting as initial dealers. The programme has obtained STEP eligibility and ratings from Moody’s and S&P.
The Clifford Chance team was led by Dewi Walian and included Jurgen van der Meer, Kris Soomers, Nolan Groenland, Robin Houtveen and Johan Anton Niesten.
