Global law firm Clifford Chance has advised the lenders on the refinancing of tonies SE’s syndicated revolving credit facility.
Led by COMMERZBANK Aktiengesellschaft as documentation agent, five banks participated in the financing. The syndicated revolving credit facility has an initial term of three years with two options to extend the term by one year each. The new facility replaces the group’s existing revolving credit facility and offers the tonies Group financial flexibility and liquidity reserves at favorable terms.
The Clifford Chance team comprised partner Simon Reitz, counsel Vanessa Steiner and associate Levin Becker (all Debt Finance, Frankfurt), partner David Neu, senior associate Genevieve Wohlfeil and senior associate Christopher Banks (all Debt Finance, Munich), partner Olaf Mertgen and counsel Steffen Waadt (both Tax, Frankfurt), partner Daniel Winnick and associate Dana O’Shea (both Debt Finance, New York) as well as partner Stefanie Ferring, counsel Sadan Ramovic and associate Kenza Yaici (all Debt Finance, Luxembourg).
