Clifford Chance advises Euroports on sale of a majority stake to A.P. Moller Capital

Global law firm Clifford Chance has advised Euroports Group, a leading port terminal operator and provider of logistics solutions, on the sale of a majority stake in the company to A.P. Moller Capital through a separately managed fund vehicle.

Following completion of the transaction, A.P. Moller Capital will become the majority shareholder in Euroports, alongside Belgian public investment companies SFPIM and PMV, which will remain shareholders and continue to support the company’s long-term growth and development.

The transaction will support Euroports’ continued development and expansion, while preserving its existing management structure, governance framework, and strategic direction. Read more about this transaction here.

The cross-border Clifford Chance team advising Euroports was co-led by partner Gillis Waelkens and senior counsel Wim Aerts, with support from partner Alexandre Ooms, counsel Stijn Van Walleghem, Steffen Amelung and Jonathan Klein as well as associates Céline Lievens, Gauthier Peemans, Yonathan Tison and Maria Barragán.
