Clifford Chance advises Česká spořitelna bank on financing of Oriens’ acquisition of a manufacturing company SANBORN

The Prague office of Clifford Chance has provided legal support to a major Czech bank Česká spořitelna, a.s. in the financing process for an acquisition of SANBORN a.s. by Czech Machining Holding, s.r.o., a direct subsidiary of Oriens Fund III SCSp.

SANBORN stands as an innovative manufacturer of parts for the energy, petrochemical, and transport industries, providing essential components to global manufacturers of generators, turbines, power companies, thermal power plants, and diesel engine manufacturers.

Oriens operates as an independent privately-owned industrial holding, with a focus on private equity investments in the Czech Republic, Hungary, Germany, Poland and Slovakia, acquiring medium-sized firms and effectively transforming them into successful sizable companies.
