Clifford Chance advises Banco Santander on one of the largest financings in the ultra-fast charging vehicles sector in Europe

Clifford Chance has advised Banco Santander as mandated lead arranger and green loan coordinator on the EUR 225 million green loan to Zunder, leading operator of ultra-fast charging vehicles in Spain and France.

The objective is to support Zunder’s expansion plan in Europe, where it will deploy more than 3,000 charging points with a special focus on Spain, France, Portugal and Italy, and to strengthen its projection to other European countries where it plans to open new charging stations. This is a major milestone in the electric mobility sector in Spain and abroad as it is one of the largest financings in this sector in Europe.

The Clifford Chance team was led by Global Financial Markets partner Eugenio Fernández-Rico and associate María Vispo, with the support of associate Irene Hernández
