Clifford Chance has advised Banco Santander, Barclays and the other managers as to English and Spanish law in respect of the issue by Redeia (Redeia Corporación, S.A.) of EUR500,000,000 3.375 per cent Green Notes due July 2032. The net proceeds of this issuance are to be used by Redeia for investment in eligible green assets.
This was a key deal for the Redeia group, where the timing for access to the market in volatile market conditions was a priority.
