Global law firm Clifford Chance has advised ASK4, the European specialist in managed internet and smart building technology for multi-tenant buildings, on its £170 million refinancing.
The refinancing replaces ASK4’s existing debt facilities on improved terms and includes a new capital expenditure facility to support the company’s continued growth and investment programme across the UK and Europe. The transaction strengthens ASK4’s financial platform, reducing financing costs and increasing investment capacity to support further expansion, ongoing investment in digital infrastructure and service enhancement, and growing demand for professionally managed connectivity and smart building technology solutions across its core markets.
ASK4 provides connectivity and smart building technology solutions to a range of residential sectors, including student accommodation, build-to-rent, co-living and long-term hospitality. The company is backed by funds managed by GI Partners.
The Clifford Chance team was led by Debt Finance partner Julia House, working closely with senior associate Lydia Morrell, associate Howard Blackbee and trainee Daniel Ferguson. Hedging support was provided by Will Winterton and Rachel Robertson; whilst Jemma Dick and Marco Montanaro advised on tax elements.
