Baker McKenzie acted as legal advisor to Safe Life AB in its acquisitions of the US based companies AED Market and AED Authority, and in Safe Life’s capital raising from existing investors, including Byggmästaren A J Ahlström Holding AB (publ), Salénia AB, SIBA Invest AB, Swedbank Robur Alternative Equity I AB, as well as employees in Safe Life.
Founded in 2019 and headquartered in Sweden, Safe Life operates and develops a group of companies focusing on providing life-saving equipment and related training. With a core business in Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs), Safe Life has acquired numerous companies across Europe and North America since its inception. The acquisitions of AED Authority and AED Market strengthens Safe Life’s position in the US.
