Baker McKenzie advises Banco Bpm on the rescheduling and increase of the loan granted to So.Ge.Mi for the new fruit and vegetable pavilion at the Milan Agrifood Market

Baker McKenzie advised Banco Bpm on the rescheduling and increase — from EUR 45.6 million to EUR 67 million — of the loan granted to So.Ge.Mi for constructing the new pavilion for the commercialization of fruit and vegetable products and a new dedicated logistics platform at the Milan Agrifood Market.

Baker McKenzie acted on the transaction with a team coordinated by Giorgio Telarico and Alberto Fornari. On the banking side, the team comprised Associates Francesco Ciociola and Camilla Bassi and Trainee Antonio Spampinato. On the administrative and regulatory side, the team comprised Counsel Mario Cigno and Associate Amalia Serena Scimè.

The transaction also involved the Municipality of Milan, as sole shareholder, to allow So.Ge.Mi to implement the Milan Agrifood Market’s redevelopment program, one of the most important in Europe.

BonelliErede advised So.Ge.Mi.
