Anna Krzanicka-Bombczyńska has been appointed Head of the Restructuring & Insolvency Practice at Baker McKenzie’s Warsaw office. A counsel and experienced legal adviser, she specializes in restructuring and insolvency law. Her appointment further strengthens the development of this strategically important practice and provides significant support to the Firm’s financial services offering.
Anna Krzanicka-Bombczyńska is one of Poland’s most experienced restructuring professionals, recognized for advising on complex restructuring matters, including formal court proceedings, out-of-court restructurings and distressed asset transactions.

The Baker McKenzie expert notes that the market’s perception of restructuring services is undergoing a significant transformation. Restructuring is no longer seen solely as a formal court-supervised process. It also includes the ability to negotiate and implement solutions with creditors at the pre-insolvency stage, as well as transactions involving distressed assets. As market participants become increasingly aware of this broader scope, restructuring is now more frequently viewed as a key tool for managing corporate crises and financial distress.
