International law firm Simmons & Simmons has advised US private equity firm Paine Schwartz Partners on its acquisition of agricultural market research company Kynetec.
Paine Schwartz specialises in sustainable food chain investing, and has a strong track record of investing in data-driven food and agribusiness companies. Kynetec is a global leader in agricultural and animal health market research, data and insights, with over 400 customers in more than 80 countries.
The Simmons team worked alongside US-based Kramer Levin in advising Paine Schwartz on the transaction. The Simmons team was led by corporate partner Gideon Sharp (supported by Arthur Stewart and Jason Daniel) and finance partner Kirsty Barnes.
