Herbert Smith Freehills Kramer advises Ramsay Health Care on its proposed A$251 million acquisition of National Capital Private Hospital

Herbert Smith Freehills Kramer (HSF Kramer) is pleased to be advising Ramsay Health Care Limited (Ramsay Health Care) on its proposed $251 million acquisition of the assets and operations of National Capital Private Hospital (National Capital) from certain Healthscope Group entities.

National Capital is located in the Canberra suburb of Garran and is co-located with the public Canberra Hospital and adjacent to the Australian National University Medical School. The hospital has 8 theatres, 1 cath lab, 148 beds, an intensive care unit and a coronary care unit enabling the servicing of a higher acuity patient mix.
