Latham & Watkins represented the lead arrangers in connection with a US$1.72 billion refinancing of first lien credit facilities, consisting of a US$145 million revolving facility and a US$1.575 million syndicated term loan facility, of Renaissance Learning, a global leader in Pre-K —12 education technology, for which Francisco Partners and Blackstone are the sponsors.

The New York Latham team was led by finance partner Paul Bonewitz, with associates Michael Waldman and Eric Dang. Advice was also provided on tax matters by partner Bora Bozkurt, with associate Aaron Bernstein.
