Dentons is pleased to welcome Nathalie Durocher as a partner in the Firm’s Insurance group. An experienced lawyer with deep expertise in insurance law, professional liability and regulatory compliance, Nathalie is a trusted advisor to insurance companies, insurance brokers and financial institutions.

“I’m very excited to join Dentons,” said Nathalie Durocher. “Working closely with clients to develop the best solutions for their business is important to me. Dentons’ established national and global presence will allow me to leverage my knowledge and expertise to help my clients discern and respond to market and regulatory changes, wherever their business takes them.”

“We are delighted to welcome Nathalie to the Firm. As a leading individual in the insurance sector, she is a go-to resource for clients across the country,” said Laurie LaPalme, partner and Global Insurance Sector Leader. “Nathalie will bolster our team’s capabilities for clients who wish to grow and operate their business in Québec and beyond.”

The Dentons Insurance team is at the forefront of the sector, partnering with clients to understand their objectives and obstacles from all perspectives, and interacting with the regulators who oversee the insurance industry at all levels to ensure exposure to risk is anticipated and mitigated. The group’s full service model allows them to advise on corporate and regulatory issues covering all areas of insurance law.

“Nathalie’s renowned profile in the insurance sector, together with her strong relationship with industry stakeholders and her encyclopedic knowledge of the Québec market, make her an excellent addition to the Firm,” said Christian Létourneau, Montréal Managing Partner. “Her experience boosts the bench strength of our team in Montréal, and complements our remarkable group of professionals with exceptional reputations across Canada and globally.”
