London—Dentons has advised Lithuania’s Šiaulių bankas on a €300 million senior preferred notes issuance. This latest issuance comes after its inaugural international bond issuance and its first-in-jurisdiction additional tier 1 notes issuance in 2024.
Erste Group, Goldman Sachs Bank Europe SE, Morgan Stanley Europe SE and Šiaulių bankas acted as Joint Lead Managers.
Šiaulių bankas is the largest independently owned bank in Lithuania, specialising in business and consumer financing solutions.

Dentons provided English legal advice to the issuer with the transaction being led by London-based capital markets partner, Neil Dixon. Alongside Neil, the team advising on the deal included Miriam Babarinde (associate) and Nia Powell (trainee).
TGS Baltic acted as Lithuanian legal counsel to Šiaulių bankas. Linklaters LLP acted as English legal counsel to the Joint Lead Managers and Sorainen acted as Lithuanian legal counsel to the Joint Lead Managers.
