Dentons has advised Heimstaden, a leading owner and one of Europe’s largest operators of rental properties, on securing €110 million in revolving financing. The loan provided by ING Bank Śląski and Santander Bank Polska will be used to refinance six residential projects in Warsaw and Kraków.
The transaction was completed under the Sustainability-Linked Revolving Loan (SLL) formula – a loan linked to sustainability goals, where the interest rate depends on the achievement of measurable ESG indicators at the consolidated level of Heimstaden Bostad. ING Bank Śląski acted as the facility agent in this transaction.
This marks the second financing transaction for Heimstaden Bostad that Dentons has advised on. In December 2023, the Banking and Finance team advised on refinancing of the acquisition of two residential complexes in Warsaw – Heimstaden Bokserska and Heimstaden Grzybowska, which was provided by Santander Bank Polska.
The transaction was led by managing counsel Jakub Zienkiewicz with the support of associates Jakub Olejniczak and Kamil Bator. Real Estate managing counsel Jarosław Stąpel was responsible for conducting the due diligence report.
