Global law firm Clifford Chance has advised international advisory firm Interpath on the acquisition of Kerkhoff, one of Europe’s leading purchasing and supply chain management consultancies. With the transaction Interpath expands its international footprint into Germany, Austria and Switzerland.
Interpath will benefit from Kerkhoff Consulting’s in-depth expertise in purchasing and supply chain management, while the integration will give Kerkhoff access to new international markets and an expanded network. All 60 members of Kerkhoff’ staff will transfer to Interpath.
With the acquisition the expansion of Interpath’s global footprint continues at pace following the launch of its first operations in mainland Europe in the summer of 2024, with the opening of its office in Paris. The firm now employs almost 1,000 people across 23 locations in the UK, Ireland, France, Germany, Austria, Bermuda, Cayman Islands, British Virgin Islands and Algeria.
The Clifford Chance team for Interpath comprised partner Simon Schmid, senior associate Ribana Piontek and associate Tobias Jenne (all Corporate, Düsseldorf), counsel Cord von Mandelsloh (Tax, Düsseldorf), partner Sebastian Ritz, senior associate Alexander Stemmler and associate Max Klein (all Employment, Düsseldorf), partner Simon Reitz, senior associate Nico Köhler (both Global Financial Markets, Frankfurt) and partner Delphine Caramalli (Global Financial Markets, Paris), partner Claudia Milbradt and senior associate Nicolas Hohn-Hein (both IP, Düsseldorf), partner Holger Lutz and counsel Nadine Neumeier (both Tech/Digital, Frankfurt), partner Philipp Stoecker and associate Sabrina Fornataro (both Real Estate, Frankfurt).
