Global law firm Clifford Chance has advised Citi on the proposed sale of its Citi Trust global fiduciary and trust administration services business to a subsidiary of JTC PLC. Citi Trust provides trust solutions, operating from New York, Delaware, South Dakota, Jersey, Singapore, Switzerland and the Bahamas, and has total AUA in excess of $70 billion.
The Clifford Chance cross-border team was led out of London by Corporate M&A partners Nick Spurrell and Melissa Fogarty, supported by senior associates Dan Bomsztyk and Jenni Polson and associates Caroline de Chastelain, Mariasole Rinciari and Dorothy Adu-Mfum, and trainee Lucrezia de Jorio.
