Clifford Chance has advised Eurofiber, a leading provider of robust and scalable network solutions, on the acquisition of Arcadiz, a prominent business-critical connectivity provider. This strategic move aims to strengthen Eurofiber’s position in delivering advanced network solutions and supporting its long-term growth objectives with its open access digital infrastructure.
Eurofiber is a long-standing client of Clifford Chance, and we are proud to have worked with them on this deal. Arcadiz, founded in 1999 and based in Leuven, designs, builds and manages networks for clients in the Benelux. The company provides tailored solutions for large companies, governments and utility companies. Through the acquisition of Arcadiz, Eurofiber bolsters its presence in Belgium and extends its market reach further.
Completion of the acquisition of Arcadiz is subject to customary conditions in Belgium and is expected to conclude in Q1 2025.
The Clifford Chance team was led by partner Niek De Pauw together with associate Haaike Wouters. The wider team consisted of: Jonathan Blondeel (Antitrust) and Gert Cuppens (Employment).
