A&O Shearman has advised SWEN Capital Partners, a leading player in responsible private equity investment, on the creation and structuring of the 7th vintage of its multi-strategy range, the SWEN PE Select Europa [Europa 7] fund.
Classified as an article 9 fund under the SFDR regulation, this vehicle targets, indirectly through fund selection or directly through a dedicated co-investment pocket, profitable European SMEs / mid-sized companies in diversified and promising sectors such as healthcare, energy transition, and decarbonization.
The article 9 classification reflects SWEN Capital Partner’s commitment to focusing on sectors that are beneficial to society and the environment according to the strictest standards in force under European regulations.
SWEN Capital Partners announced a first closing of this fund at EUR83 million.
