
Linklaters advised Compass Group on the acquisition of German Pro Care Management GmbH (PCM) by Compass Group Europe from Vivecti Group. Compass Group is a global leader in food services and operates group purchasing organizations (GPOs) in the UK and North America. PCM is a tech-enabled procurement and software service provider for large scale kitchens in the healthcare and other sectors, and one of the largest independent food GPOs in Germany. PCM manages approximately €630 million in client spend.
With the acquisition of PCM Compass Group wants to accelerate European growth in its core business through the German market. Vivecti Group, an integrated healthcare technology company, will focus on its core business around medical processes. PCM and Vivecti Group will continue their partnership. The transaction has been completed as all regulatory approvals and other closing conditions have been fulfilled.
