DLA Piper has advised Synova, a leading European growth investor, on the acquisition of Allgeier IT Services GmbH (AITS) from Allgeier SE.

AITS is a prominent end-to-end IT services provider serving Germany’s Mittelstand and critical national infrastructure clients. With deep expertise in cloud services, cybersecurity, and data & AI, AITS has built a scalable operational framework and an integrated technology platform enabling it to consolidate the fragmented German market. With ten German offices, the company serves over 300 clients. AITS has demonstrated strong organic growth over the past three years and is well-positioned for continued expansion.

The acquisition marks Synova’s first platform investment in Germany and its second in the DACH region, following its successful exit from Basel-based Avantra. The transaction reinforces Synova’s commitment to investing in exceptional management teams in Europe’s most attractive growth markets and sectors. In line with this strategy, Synova plans to support AITS with further investment in its commercial capabilities and a targeted M&A strategy focused on geographic expansion, service differentiation, and strategic partnerships.

Synova, based in the UK, is recognized for its innovative approach and market-leading returns, is investing in companies valued between GBP20 million and GBP250 million across the UK, Ireland, and continental Europe.
