Clifford Chance advises Macquarie Asset Management on EUR 97 million financing for Greenalia

Clifford Chance has advised Macquarie Asset Management, through its managed funds, as lender of a facility granted to the renewable energy producer Greenalia.

Greenalia Power Spain, S.L.U. acted as borrower and Bondholders, S.L. as agent and security agent.

The EUR 97 million financing will be allocated to repay certain existing loans to the group and to fund equity contributions to certain group entities, in the context of project finance transactions.

The Clifford Chance team was led by Global Financial Markets partner José Guardo, with support from senior associate Antonio Sánchez-Cirujano and associate Hugo van Dijk.
