Latham & Watkins Advises Apollo in Completed US$3.6 Billion Acquisition of Barnes Group

Barnes Group Inc. (NYSE: B), a global provider of highly engineered products, differentiated industrial technologies, and innovative solutions, and Apollo (NYSE: APO) announced that funds managed by affiliates of Apollo have completed the previously announced acquisition of Barnes in an all-cash transaction with a total enterprise value of approximately US$3.6 billion. With the completion of the acquisition, Barnes’ common stock has ceased trading and will be delisted from the New York Stock Exchange.
