Latham & Watkins LLP has advised Marcolin, a leading group in eyewear and a portfolio company of PAI Partners (PAI), on the acquisition of eyewear manufacturer ic! berlin GmbH (ic! berlin).
Marcolin will take full control of the company, integrating within its organization of approximately 140 employees located at the Berlin headquarters and manufacturing plant, as well as in two subsidiaries in Japan and United States.
Latham & Watkins regularly advises PAI and its portfolio companies on transactions, most recently in connection with a strategic partnership with Nestlé.
