Kirkland & Ellis advises Oakley Capital on the acquisition of Buddyfit through its portfolio company 7NXT.

Headquartered in Genoa, Italy, Buddyfit offers online fitness classes, workout programs and nutrition plans to its subscriber base of c. 100,000. The market-leading online fitness platform in Italy and Spain has grown significantly since its inception in 2019.

A Kirkland team had previously advised Oakley on the acquisition of 7NXT in 2020. 7NXT operates the DACH region’s leading fitness and wellbeing platforms Gymondo and 7Mind. The integration of Buddyfit bolsters the subscriber base of the 7NXT companies to more than 800,000 and extends the company’s market reach deeper into Europe.
