Freshfields advises CVC Fund VIII on investment in Spectrum Medical Group

Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer (‘Freshfields’) has advised CVC Capital Partners Fund VIII (‘CVC’) on its definitive investment and partnership agreement to support the continued growth of Spectrum Medical Group Limited (‘Spectrum Medical’), valuing Spectrum Medical at up to £1bn.

Spectrum Medical has grown rapidly over the past few years by bringing new and pioneering technologies to the cardiac bypass and ICU space. The company’s vision is driven by clinical excellence and outcomes, and is committed to partnering with the world’s leading clinicians in the implementation of clinical best practice.

CVC’s investment will support Spectrum Medical’s ambitious growth strategy to continue transforming the cardiac space and improving patient outcomes.
