Dentons is pleased to announce that Andrew Rankin has joined the Real Estate practice as of counsel in the Indianapolis office. Andrew brings more than 20 years of in-house and private practice experience with him as he serves clients with local, cross-border and multijurisdictional needs.
Andrew advises clients in commercial and industrial real estate matters, including in purchase, disposition, financing, construction, leasing and operation. He is experienced in drafting and negotiating commercial leases, financing agreements and documentation, asset purchase agreements, easements, and various licensing agreements. He also has helped clients acquire and develop a variety of properties, including mixed-used, industrial, condominiums, retail and gaming.
Andrew began his career in private practice and has spent the past 16 years in legal roles within companies, most recently as Senior Corporate Counsel at a national equipment and tool rental company. Andrew also previously worked as Corporate Counsel at a national athletic retailer headquartered in Indianapolis.

Andrew is graduate of Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law and of Wabash College, where he earned his BA in Political Science and was a NCAA Division III Academic All-American in Cross Country.
