Global law firm Clifford Chance has advised the lenders to international private equity firm Advent in relation to the financing to support its acquisition of Automic Group. Automic Group is a market-leading fintech group providing registry and fund administration services to investors and issuers in Australia and New Zealand. The group leverages technology to provide insight-led services to support over 1,400 companies and funds. Over the past 5 years, Automic has been the top-performing share registry for IPOs and listed transactions in Australia.
The cross-border debt financing team was led by partners Alim Amershi and Elizabeth Hundt Russell, with support from counsel Alexander Sorgese and associates Liam Dunne, Howard Blackbee and Sachin Kinger.
